THE JOURNEY TO JEE : JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION - by Kaartikeya Srivastava
In India almost every science student with mathematics tries to prepare for a very prestigious and tough examination, but as a sad reality many few of them get selected and acquire seats in good ,1st-tier colleges of India.
The reasons of not getting selected are plenty, which I guess every one knows, so without making this blog too lengthy and time taking to read I will start with the points one must follow in order to grab a seat in IITs and NITs.
1.) At least study or try to study for 8-10 hours daily. Because to achieve what 8-9 lakhs students are unable to you have to do what they fail to do.
2.)It requires Commitment to start but it requires CONSISTENCY to finish, working daily and putting maximum efforts with patience and self believe is the key.
3.)Frequent REVISION, the syllabus is too large to only study once and remember , constant revision may be weekly or daily is very very important as it of no use to study new topics and forget the previous ones, our net gain of knowledge would be zero .Many students forget what they studied in class 11th when they are in class 12th, as a result they are unable to understand the concepts well.
4.)Focusing on NCERTs, is done by very few students. NCERT books are short and compact which are the first book to be read by every student. These books are written by highly experienced and qualified professors and teachers, to extract the maximum out of it one has to read it thoroughly between the lines that too multiple times at least for CHEMISTRY.
5.)Selecting BOOKS while preparing for JEE is quite a hideous task because there are many fancy books in the market which might create a hole in your pocket. Therefore if you are enrolled in any coaching institute then NCERT + Coaching material(books and module) are more than sufficient for mains as well as advanced with constant practice.
6.)Staying away from SMART PHONES and SOCIAL MEDIA is necessary and important. In order to study efficiently our mind should work at its best and for this it needs to be focused. Social media and smart phones are not used judiciously by students , while searching for concepts' explanation online many student get distracted from their path and end up in wasting 3-4 hours , tiring their eyes and brain.

Well explained and helpful blog. It's always grateful to learn from other's experience.
